There are normal people on here who are pleased to be ignorant of such references, the use of which isn't very inclusive to us.

Normal English is just fine for most of us, no need for these arcane references.

it never ceases to amuse me, seeing grown adults complaining about online social media, using a form of online social media to do it Facebook is what YOU make it, it is customisable and you really don't have to suffer the bits you don't like.

Yeah but if she wasn't on it, none of her contemporaries would "like" her, and she'd have to go out and talk to people. To this subset of humanity, no "likes" is a disaster.................
