WD 40 will not kill primers when it dries out they will go bang again.

The hammer method is what I use whilst wearing safety specs.

Stupid question probably but cant you just load them and fire them ensuring that all powder is out of them?

Hammer but if they are milsurp they are likely to be Berdan primed which means ideally they need to be detonated in a rifle which makes noise and they are probably corrosive as well.

I've always popped the primers in a gun, hammer and nail just doesn't appeal to me.....
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!

Shoot them, clouting cases with a primer in is not a great idea. I suppose you could remove the decapping pin, resize and load them as an alternative.
